Download the Information Day Flyer! - HERE BGA AgriServices comes to GraftonBGA AgriServices is pleased to announce that we have acquired the business of Rural Buying Service (RBS) in Grafton, effective 1st March 2011. This acquisition will provide BGA with further geographic and market diversification and will be a valuable addition to our South Burnett and Wide Bay businesses. At the same time we would hope to add value to the Grafton business through the introduction of the range of professional BGA services that our clients in other areas have come to expect and enjoy. As part of our expansion into Grafton our current Tyndale branch will become a depot and will operate during the cane season only, at all other times Tyndale will be a storage location for the Grafton Branch. All staff currently employed at the Tyndale branch will transfer to Grafton with Wal Green assuming the roll as branch manager overseeing both Grafton and Tyndale. We are also happy to announce that Ian Reardon and Billy Weatherstone currently employed by RBS will transfer to BGA AgriServices. BGA AgriServices looks forward to becoming a part of the Grafton community and providing great products, prices and customer service.

In the South Burnett you can call the J.Bjelke-Petersen Research Station at Kingaroy on 0741600700 and talk to Bill Fletcher (QRAA), Alan Broome (Farm Financial Councillor) or Damien O'Sullivan (Extension Officer). Who is eligible to apply? Primary producers in these areas that have suffered direct damage and who have generated more than 50 per cent of their income from their businesses are eligible to apply. To be eligible you do not have to be in a major flood zone. Any damage caused by the rain events during December and January will allow you to qualify. This acquisition will provide BGA with further geographic and market diversification and will be a valuable addition to our South Burnett and Wide Bay businesses. At the same time we would hope to add value to the Casino business through the introduction of the range of professional BGA services that our clients in other areas have come to expect and enjoy. We are happy to advise that all key staff presently employed by Casino Rural Traders will transfer to BGA, which will allow ongoing continuity of the strong relationship that Casino Rural Traders has developed with its customer base. The current business owner Mark Fuhrmann will assume the role as Branch Manager. BGA looks forward to becoming a part of the Casino community and further developing the business throughout the district.
